On my own professional development, I Have shifted most of
my online presence from deviantart to Artstation and Twitter, which have been
growing significant during the past couple of months. (In particular thanks to a series of character re-design that I came up with).
As a result, I began to
receive a lot of attention from studios via my Artstation portfolio, including one
based in Stockholm, Atomhawk design in Newcastle, and biggest of all , Netease ,
who are the biggest game developer and internet service company in China. Although I had to turn down the offers at this moment, since I still have one more year of uni to go, It really help build my confidence in my portfolio and push me to be even better.
On
the other hand, my Patreon also benefited greatly from the coming tracffic, and
now I’m close to hitting my milestone income on it. My plan for it is then to
shift toward having smaller subscription but with a really big audience , which
is more stable in the long run. Having a good Patreon running really keeps me
busy which in turns help me practice, as well as giving a stable source of
income and savings for the future.
